The Yardbirds signed 1965 Programme Page VG+ pinholes to corners and edges. Signed clearly in blue pen by Jeff Beck, Jim McCarty and Chris Dreja. The Yardbirds was famous for starting the careers of three of the top five Rolling Stone magazine's 100 greatest guitarists - Clapton, Beck and Page. In May 1966, before Page joined the band Beck, Page, John Paul Jones, Keith Moon and Nicky Hopkins recorded Beck's Bolero. At about this time the idea of a supergroup was mooted with Beck, Page, Moon and John Entwistle, Moon suggested it would go down like a lead balloon and suggested Lead Zeppelin for the name.
