Ticket for the 2nd night of their 3 night slot at Birmingham NEC in support of their 11th studio album "The Works". The cross-dressing video parody of the soap opera Coronation Street for the track - I Want to Break Free caused controversy resulting in it being banned by MTV and poor sales in the US. This was the first tour to feature the "5th Member" Spike Edney as an live musician. A DVD from the works tour was released of the Tokyo concert titled " We Are the Champions: Final Live in Japan" oddly named as there were two further dates in Nagoya and Osaka. Support was provided by General Public formed by Dave Wakeling and Ranking Roger following the break up of The Beat. Ticket measures approx. 7.5cm x 8.5cm.
